Happenings of Late…

It’s been a long time, I know. Excuses? I can come up with plenty…mostly though I would just ask for pr-yer. My wrists (yep…that’s plural…as in both)…have been acting crazy on me. We’re (doctors, myself, friends with experience) are not sure what’s caused it…driving a car without power steering? On the computer for several hours a day? Something funny I did to it while on a trip? Who knows…but they are still not healed. They do feel some better…3 weeks ago I could barely do anything without pain. Now…I’m slowly adding things on my to-do list. 1) Wash dishes. 🙂    2) Communicate with loved ones about all that’s going on. 3) Work work work work.

I went on a coverage with a teammate to Manila, to cover the floods that have recently occurred there because of typhoon’s Ketsana and Pepeng. We met up with a team from America (Oklahoma, Texas, and Kentucky) who served by sharing their love, mudding out schools and homes, and distributing food to those affected. After 3 days of work, 13 people had already come to know the Father! Amazing!

Love this song…”Washed by the Water” NeedtoBreathe

Daddy was a preacher
She was his wife
Just tryin to make the world a little better
You know, shine a light
People started talking
Just to hear their own voice
Those people tried to accuse my father
Said he made the wrong choice
Though it might be painful
You know that time will always tell
Those people have long since gone
My father never failed

Chorus
Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water

Repeat Chorus

Even when the Earth crumbles under my feet
Even when the ones I love turn around and crucify me
I won’t never ever let you down
I won’t fall
I won’t fall
I won’t fall as long as you’re around me

Chorus
Even when the rain falls
Even when the flood starts rising
Even when the storm comes
I am washed by the water

Blessings…
